About Us

Our Providers

Our providers consist of eight physicians, four nurse practitioners, a physician assistant and a dietitian. Our eight physicians rotate the position of On-Call Physician daily. This physician provides services to patients whose primary care physician is not available for emergent care.

The Business Office
The business office includes: Receptionists, schedulers, operator, billing and referral staff, medical transcriptionists, medical records staff and office management. These support staff are excellent resources for:

  • Transferring calls to the appropriate staff person
  • Scheduling, canceling or changing appointments
  • Requesting a medical referral to a specialist
  • Requesting transfer or copy of medical records
  • Answering billing/insurance questions or concerns

The Clinical Assisting Staff
The clinical assisting staff includes Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Certified Medical Assistants (CMA). These staff members assist the physician in overall patient care, and are an excellent resources for:

  • X-ray or lab results
  • Messages for the physicians
  • Medicine Refills

Clinical Assistants are cross trained with all physicians. Even though as a patient you may feel more comfortable speaking with the clinical assistant who works directly with your physician, questions, medicine refills, test results, etc. can be handled by any clinical assistant.

The Triage Nurse
The triage nurse is an RN or LPN trained to assess a patient’s health related symptoms over the phone. Triage means “sorting out.” She will ask you questions related to your symptoms and help decide the appropriate course of action. Information requested will include:

  • Symptoms you are currently experiencing, including your temperature, if appropriate
  • The length of illness
  • Medicine you are currently taking as well as any “over the counter” medicine you have tried
  • The names and phone number of your preferred pharmacy
  • Known medicine allergies

This information will help the triage nurse determine the appropriate treatment for your symptoms, which may include; treatment of your symptoms at home, office visit or a visit to the emergency room. All medical advice is given under the direct supervision of a physician.
